Square Foot Gardening with Yavapai Master Gardener! In-Person

Unlike traditional row gardening in native sandy loam soil, this innovative method maximizes your harvest using minimal space and water—perfect for small yards, patios, or anyone looking to grow more with less effort. Learn how to create an organized, productive garden that’s easier to maintain, reduces weeding, and produces a continuous bounty of fresh vegetables. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced gardener, this approach will revolutionize the way you grow!
Who ARE the Master Gardeners?
Master Gardeners are volunteers who are trained by the University of Arizona to support the county Horticulture Agent, by providing science-based horticulture information to the public. Master Gardeners are volunteers of the University of Arizona Cooperative Extension.
What does all that mean? They know their stuff and they are ready to teach us all how to become masters in our own gardens too!
